The internet is filled with them, the mail box keeps producing them like an endless spring, and we often find ourselves spending time going over pages and pages of them, making sure that we are not passing a good deal to the garbage can. Some of us would plan our shopping according to the coupons we hold. Others are so familiar with the marketing approach and schedule of their choice of stores, that they know to expect when another coupons campaign will hit the website or their mailbox. Just today I got a big page with an American eagle coupon, ooh I was excited. Not bad if you can live your life like that. I must confess, this never worked for me. Once, on the line to pay in the supermarket, the cashier asked me if I have any coupons, and I replied that I don’t. An old lady who just paid after submitting a load of coupons, turned to me and said: “you will never mount to buying your own house if you pay no attention to coupons, and savings”.
